Taushiri
Taushiri means 'House of the Monkey' in Mayab-Lenka. The Mayab-Lenkas are indigenous to El Salvador and monkeys were typically associated with the scribes - men and women who were highly trained artists, writers and storytellers--I'm a Salvadoran artist based in San Francisco, CA, here to share my work on this blog.
